«The two most important days of your life are the day you are born, and the day you discover what you were born for.»
Mark Twain
Martin Seligman and psychologist Christopher Peterson divide the strengths or positive traits that we all possess to a greater or lesser extent into six groups. I propose the following: try to discover at least 5 strengths that you think represent you, among the 24 that Seligman and Peterson propose, and enhance them in your daily life. If you are aware of your strengths and make the most of them, you will be on the best path to happiness.
- WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE: Creativity. Curiosity. Open mind I wish to learn. Perspective.
- COURAGE: Courage. Persistence. Integrity. Vitality.
- HUMANITY: Love. Kindness. Social intelligence.
- JUSTICE: Citizenship. Justice. Leadership.
- MODERATION: Forgiveness and compassion. Humility. Prudence. Self-control.
- TRANSCENDENCE: The appreciation of beauty and excellence. Gratitude. Hope. Sense of humor. Spirituality.
