Where to look?

An old man started looking for something in the garden outside the monastery.

After more than an hour had passed, a monk approached him.

"Good man, what are you looking for?"

"The keys to the monastery, I can't find them anywhere, I've been here a long time and there's no way."

"Don't worry, I will help you."

Both continued to search the entire garden.

After a while another monk came up and asked them the same question. And immediately he started looking for the keys too.

Up to six monks approached to help the master search for the keys he had lost.

When it had been more than an hour, one of them asked:

"This piece of garden is small, and we are ten people looking for keys that are also quite large." Forgive my daring, but are you sure you lost them here?

"Here ... ah, no, no ... I actually lost them in the basement of the kitchen, in there," he replied without flinching as he continued searching.

At that moment everyone stopped searching.

"But then ... why are you looking for them out here?"

"Well, because there is more light here and the company is undoubtedly much better."
